Design is a response to the changing trend of society
You can beat the competitors, but you will never beat the trend. Brand is not about conquering the competitors as Brand has no enemy. Brand does not appear on the battlefield but in consumer’s hearts and minds. Today, Brand can be seen as a global citizen. To become a truly global citizen, Brand needs to adjust itself toward the changes as the world keeps on evolving.
Form follows feelings
Consumers pay for “perceived” product not “real” products. Perception is about emotion values consisting of love, hate… Every design needs to touch consumer’s “feelings”, if not, it would be just a colorful demonstration full of information.
Design for pleasure and profit
It would not be a perfect “connection” if design mainly followed the “heart”, not the “brain”. Design must have strategic direction to meet the objectives of market development, increasing profitability, serving the benefits of customer and Left Brain Connectors, not only for the artistic merits.
